This small city/large town of about 84,000 is only 40 miles from Boston. Working people and active adults in retirement seem to appreciate that Nashua is also near the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire and Maine. There are several colleges in Nashua including Rivier College, NH Community Technical College, and Daniel Webster College. It is nicknamed "The Gate City”.
